MISSION  STATEMENT

 

The Lenawee County Family Researchers exists to foster interest in historical  and genealogical  information related to Lenawee County, Michigan by  preserving the County's historical and genealogical records and providing  support to researchers everywhere seeking that information. 

 

 

 STEPS TO SUPPORT THE MISSION: 

 

Responding to typical or electronic queries that request County historical  and/or genealogical information. 

 

Researching, indexing, transcribing and publishing Lenawee County's  historical and genealogical records. 

 

Sponsoring trips to regional sites rich in genealogical resources. 

 

Encouraging members and others to submit items of historical and  genealogical interest  to the organization's newsletter.
